Q: How do I book a session?
You can book directly through our website, email us at info@sgphotographywa.com.
Once we connect, we’ll confirm your date, go over session details, and send over a short agreement to secure your spot.
Q: What locations do you shoot at?
We photograph all over the greater Seattle area. Our spots include Discovery Park, Luther Burbank Park, Gas Works Park, and other locations. We recommend locations that match your style, whether you want urban textures, forest trails, or golden-hour fields.
Q: What if the weather is bad?
We’re pros at working with PNW weather, but if it rains too hard or conditions aren’t safe, we’ll reschedule at no extra charge.
Q: How long before we get our photos?
You’ll receive your online gallery of professionally edited images within 1–2 weeks at the latest. Rush delivery is available, just let us know your deadline (like yearbook submissions or marketing needs).
Q: Do we get digital files?
Yes. All sessions include a set number of high-resolution digital images.
Q: Can we bring pets?
Yes, dogs, cats, etc. Just let us know ahead of time.
Q: Do you travel?
Yes! We love shooting on-location and offer travel within WA. Travel fees may apply depending on distance, just ask for a custom quote.
Senior Portraits
Q: When should I schedule my senior session?
Ideally, book your session at least a couple of weeks or a month in advance. Most seniors book in summer/fall of their senior year, fall is very popular for senior portraits.
Q: Can I bring a friend or a parent to my session?
Yes, we encourage an adult such as a parent/guardian or a friend to come along, they can make the photos feel so much more natural! We even offer discounted add-on pricing if you are planning on doing a double session with a friend.
Q: How long is the session?
Senior sessions typically last 1–2 hours, depending on the package you choose. That includes time for outfit changes and location shifts.
Q: Do you help with outfit or location ideas?
Yes! After booking, we’ll send you some tips and ideas for outfits, and sample locations. We’ll also chat before your shoot to make sure you feel confident.
Headshots & Branding
Q: Who are headshot sessions for?
Everyone, from professionals updating LinkedIn to creatives launching brands. We’ll tailor the session to fit your goals.
Q: What’s the difference between headshots and branding sessions?
Headshots are clean, professional images focused on you from the shoulders up—perfect for resumes or websites. Branding sessions include more variety: full-body shots, workspace images, etc.
Q: How long does a session last?
Headshot sessions usually last 30 to 45 minutes, while full branding sessions can run 1–2 hours depending on your needs.
Q: Can we shoot at my office or business location?
Absolutely! We’re happy to shoot in your workspace, studio, office, or on-location if it fits your brand vibe. We’ll go over lighting needs and logistics in advance.
Q: Do you offer group or team headshots?
Yes, we work with teams and small businesses to create consistent, professional looks across your staff. Ask about custom pricing for group sessions.
